At Kell Radiator Service, Inc. we specialize in radiator repair. Whether it's a simple repair, complete overhaul or a new replacement radiator we can take care of your needs!
When a complete overhaul is needed we will recore your radiator with the finest core that can be built for your vehicle needs. We also offer upgrades in cooling capacity by using a special high efficiency core. Bring us your radiator and let us access your needs and build a radiator that is custom designed for you!
We also offer full radiator services for heavy duty and industrial equipment. Radiators, oil cooler, air-to-air coolers - nothing is too big or too small. We also offer labor off and on for all industrial and heavy duty equipment.
We repair aluminum radiators and perform plastic tank replacements on aluminum radiators - do not let someone tell you all aluminum radiators are throw-aways!
Kell Radiator Service offers complete air conditioning services on most all vehicles.
We also offer A/C Retro Fits on older vehicles still using R-12 refrigerant. If your vehicle is older than 1994, more than likely it has the older refrigerant R-12 which is no longer manufactured. The R-12 that is still available costs up to $120.00 per pound. This makes it too expensive to let your A/C system leak. We have been providing our customers with an affordable alternative to R-12.
For up to $250.00, depending on the vehicle, a one time A/C retro-fit from R-12 to the new R-134A refrigerant does the job on about 95% of all vehicles - some vehicles will not retrofit due to the fact of bad compressor design, or inadequate condenser size...
Always remember to run your A/C system in the winter for about 15 minutes each month, and then always test your A/C system around the beginning of April to see if it will make cold air. If it does not, you will avoid the rush for servicing when the summer heat does come.
